What We Collect
Information you give us. When you fill out the inquiry form on our contact page, you provide your name, email address, phone number, company name, job site location, the equipment or training you are interested in, and anything you write in the message field. You choose what to put in that form. If you call or email us instead, we have whatever you tell us.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records standard technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the site or search that sent you. This comes from our web server logs and from Google Analytics.
What we do not collect. This site does not sell anything online, so we never take payment card numbers. We do not have user accounts, logins, or a comment section. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, driver license numbers, or any government identifier through this website.
Why We Use It
We use the information you submit to answer your question, price the operator training or evaluation you asked about, schedule sessions at your site, and follow up on a quote. We use the automatic data to understand which pages people find useful, fix problems, and decide what to write next. That is the whole list. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles.
Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure site traffic. It sets cookies in your browser that help it recognize a returning visit and understand how people move through the site. This data is aggregated, and we do not use it to identify you personally.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work. If you want to opt out of Google Analytics specifically, Google publishes a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Most browsers also send a Do Not Track signal, and there is no industry standard for how sites should respond to it, so we do not currently respond to it.
Embedded Content
Our contact page embeds a map from OpenStreetMap so you can find our office, and some pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser loads those items, it contacts those providers directly and they can see your IP address, the same as if you had visited their site. We do not control what they collect. Our pages also link out to our social profiles; simply seeing a link does not share anything about you.
Who Else Sees It
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it. We share it only with the service providers that keep this site and our business running:
- SiteGround hosts this website and its server logs.
- Google Analytics processes the site usage data described above.
- Zoho receives what you submit through our inquiry form and stores it in our customer records system.
Beyond that, we disclose information only when the law requires it, or when we need to establish or defend a legal claim.
How Long We Keep It
Inquiries and customer correspondence are kept as long as we have an active or reasonably foreseeable business relationship with you, and afterward for as long as we need them for tax, insurance, and recordkeeping purposes. Operator training and evaluation records are kept longer because employers and regulators may need to verify them years later. Analytics data follows Google’s standard retention period. If you want your inquiry deleted sooner, ask us.
Your Choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@3psafety.net or call (252) 229-5238 and tell us what you need. We will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law; tell us and we will honor what applies to you. We will not treat you differently for asking.
If you would rather not submit anything through the website at all, just call us. The phone works fine.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and we rely on our hosting and software providers to maintain reasonable safeguards. No website or method of transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Please do not send sensitive personal information, such as a Social Security number or a photograph of a government ID, through the website form.
Children
This site is aimed at employers and working adults in the construction, earthmoving, and material handling trades. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to Other Sites
We link to outside resources such as OSHA, and to our sister companies. Once you follow a link off this site, this policy no longer applies. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
